Teams FTW (Switzerland) and Prophecy (France) in the M5 in Paris

I watched the prize ceremony yesterday.

To my great surprise, when the winners of the M5 division took the podium (all of them young kids that are playing their first year in the Millennium Series)... the 2nd and 3rd place teams were booing, and chanting "shame on you".

Now, it may just be me that has been brought up well, but I found it to be extremely tasteless and completely lacking class, to not have the common courtesy to acknowledge a team that has outplayed you in the finals of an event.

It is my hope, that the whole paintball industry will notice these two team names, and think twice before sponsoring teams with such bad manners and so little understanding of how paintballers can hate eachother on-field, and be the best of friends outside the field.

One of the Prophecy players tried wiping in the finals...he got gog'd well n truely and then tried rubbing his face into his bunker

...naturally it was a 3-for-1...

Then after the game they came off and started shouting, pushing and generally abusing our team/sponsors.

Not quite sure qhat they're complaining about, but hey...don't they look stupid shouting and boo'ing a kids team?! ...Glad to see people saw what was going on...

I didn't see the game.... so I can't comment on that (and there is always two sides to a story).

I just think that no matter what went down in a game - where teams normally agree to just blame the refs .... booing the first place team in your division, right after you have walked off the stage - and then not having had the balls to say anything while you had the microphone, is just... well... gay

We're Notorious. We dont care, makes us look the better side. We blew them off the field and thats all that counts.
funny how Prophecy were calling us cheats when in the finals their guy got 3 for 1'd for trying to wipe his goggles.
all i can say is thanks to Phil Webb, Spike from Draxxus, Mark from D7's, all the Kelly's, Metod/Ducks, Nexus, Stealers and most importantly Dave and Kathy Stewart for supporting us all weekend, we had u guys behind us and we dont need anyone else.

Do you mean Impact, the French M5 team? The scoresheet says that Notorious Kidz won that game without losing a single player. How exactly does that constitute an ass-kicking? Or are you saying that you took a bribe to lose the game quite so spectacularly?

we got the repeat but they never showed. They never kicked our ass and never showed for the repeat so we couldnt beat them on fair terms, we'll see who kicks whos ass in campaign i guess.

I think he's referring to a game played with false start where a couple of Nks were shot in the back while going back to the start gate. The game was to be re-played, but Impact didn't show. Anyone can kick arse when the opposition team are not firing back.
