I treat every tattoo individually. Pip's looks good, but some women, well..... what were they thinking (or drinking) when they had it done? That's what I ask?

Its a personal choice and as long you are happy with your designs it shouldn't matter what anybody else thinks. I have five tats, one was done free-hand and I know its the only one anywhere in the world!! Or the chances of meeting someone else with it are slim!! Hubby has a selection which only appeared after meeting me, I guess I was the wayward woman!! All his are his own personal choice and have meaning to him. The only thing I would state again is BE CERTAIN BEFORE HAVING IT DONE

I've recently returned from me hols and I found that it seems more common now to have a tatoo than not.
Even the "bloaters" have them,why they want to draw attention to themselves is beyond me....

"Bloaters" - presume you mean anybody over "average" weight!!! Well you notice them either with or without the tats, I should know . And most people like attention

Finally something I can wholeheartedly disagree with Pete on!!

I LOVE chicks with Tattoo's, and not when they do it half-ass either, I like it when they really go to town. I love the dirty, porn-star, aggressive, intimidating rock chicks. Tall, statuesque, language like sailors, fully enhanced. They are like the Race-cars of sexual encounters, the ride you will never forget, the bruises you can never explain....

Of course, I'm a totally hetero chick, and Im just saying this to stimulate the male posters into opening thier eyes to appreciate the work and the art these painted ladies display on thier body-canvasses for our veiwing pleasure. Would I marry one? Hell no! They're all completely unstable, psycho in some cases, but that doesn't mean you shouldn''t appreciate them......

Wow. I love Salvador Dali but I don't think I'd go that far.

I personally think that tattoo's suit men more than women. Women with a million tats either look one of two ways, kinda sexy (Suicide Girls) or just really terrible. (Amy Winehouse) I'm getting 'Carpe Diem' on the back of my neck for my 18th Birthday but I don't think I'd have anything really massive.

I want that because I like Latin words and I like the meaning and at least most people actually know what It means so I won't have to explain it 15 times a day. Plut it'll look awesome underneath my nape surface peircing. (Which I incidently got because I wanted an unusual peircing.. (and because they don't numb things, so the origional toungue plan was out the window!))
