tapeworm

hi mindgames!

contrary to opinion
it is best to loctite the tapeworm in!

the reason behind this is to create a seal on the threadds sop now air (however little ) can leak out and affect the performance of the gun!

low strength loctite that tapeworm in!

any questions,

contact me or paul

I just went through this myself, becuz you have a newer imp you don't have to take the va off. all you have to do is remove the plug and switch it with the tapeworm. The instructions are outdated. If you notice your imp lacks that set screw in the pic on the istructions.

kizzie, i already have it removed

i thought dow 33 was only used as an adhesive lube? is the tapeworm a 1-time lube sort of thing or should it be done on a regular basis?

What is an adhesive lube? Dow 33 is "grease". I greased the tapeworm only once. I don't think I'd need to grease again as the tapeworm has no moving parts. (You may not even need lube on a tapeworm)

Bit late to come back to this I know, but if air can leak out of the front then there is something wrong with the o-ring immediately behind the thread. Maybe it's got loctite on it or something
