Ankle support - for what?

Unless you play in the woods of course!!

IMHO ankle support is just not needed on supair feilds - do we see rugby/football players with hi-tops?

Nope - and why? Because the chances of turning your ankle are minimal.

And standard lo-top shoes enable you to run quicker

Werent you at the Outer Limits that day when the player did a 180 on his ankle only to look down and see his foot pointing the wrong way. I actualy thought that was one of your old team mates.

Thinking about it that was on a hyperball field but you get my drift.

i've heard from excellent sources that a high ranking US dye sponsored team actually put bolts in the bottoms of their dyes to get any grip....

with the lack of smilies i guess you arent joking (are you?) but the only surfaces i have had problems with at all, are shiny/polished surfaces, ie drain covers, and wet tile floors, any other condition ive been in has been fine, wet grass, mud, snow, forest:)

RPS field at Campaign, went barreling straight up to the 50, only to slip and go arse up. I had the cleats since Toulouse and used them about 7 times between. The tread is now almost gone. Strange.
Definitely going for the JT's now
