picked up a chrono y'day, chrono'd my gun today and its shooting between 280fps - 300 fps and my operating pressure is around 135psi... my dwell is at 22, im trying to decide wether my shots are dropping or not, havn't really got a long enough shooting range but in theory does this seem right?

To much variation,needs to be around -/+ 3fps really.Is your ball to barrel match ok?

Try this to set the dwell:
1. Bottom out the dwell
2. Set your input pressure to about 120 psi
3. Increase the dwell until the marker cycles properly at +/- 10 fps consistency
4. Increase your input pressure up to desired fps
5. Increase the dwell up by 1 until velocity stays consistent. If consistency is already good. reduce the dwell down by 1 until it becomes inconsistent, then bring back up 2.

Should be around 20 blinks +/- for the Smart Parts QEV

well i just dropped my dwell to 15ms (lowest it would cycle... it shoots everytime full auto and semi, but when i chrono it at roughly 150psi it shoots between 275 and 290... :S

sometimes I get the odd 300 but I cannot test to see if it is dropping because my garden is like 20ft long... altho I am shooting at gaffa bob (a full-size man made from sand bags and gaffa tape from a documentary my parents filmed) which is fun! :D

EDIT:::

For some reason when I switch to 3 burst fire it only shoots one.. :S any ideas?
