Unfortunately a lot of training isn't fun, especially when you repeat the same drill again and again and again ad nauseum.

It's one of the reasons that many 'training days' break down into just plain old skrimaging. This has its place, at the start or end of the day IMHO, but it can do nothing more than reinforce the same old bad habits.

Pball is meant to be fun, but if you're serious enough to practice then you should be willing to accept your captain/coach/fluffer forcing you to repeatedly do drills that may be boring &/or painful for you.

The only way I can think of to help is to ward small prizes for good performance - you'll have to decide the best criteria for winning based upon what your exact problem is.

Sweetspotting breaks down very easily:

Never aim for the player, it's way more difficult
Imagine an box about 3feet square about 1 foot from the bunker
Fill that box with paint on the break and wait for someone to run through it.

In order to be good at sweetspotting you have to:

a) have a good understanding of how to hit someone at distance (angle the guns needs to be at etc)
b) be able to shoot straight
c) fire fast

The way I "get my eye in" for a) is just before game on while everyone is getting sorted, stand at the spot I'll be sweeting from (prolly just in front of the base) and shoot the side of the bunker I will be shooting towards until I am hitting it about half way up (if it's a coke can). I can then judge how hi/low I have to aim to hit that box.

That works for me anyway.....now shooting and running is another matter :)

The guys running can take lids from trashcans, and make arm loops out of rope or duct tape or something to make a shield, ten simply wear that shiled facing the sweet soptter (so if you're running to your teams right, wear it on your left arm) that'll help limit the body weltz ...

Being the person shot at is not fun, but it happens when you break out in a tourney anyway, so they should be ready for it.

Shoot at the bunker is great advice, as the player will run in to your paint, rather than you shooting the player. I've been taken out that way too often!
