Just to clarify things further

Nick - Birger's head shot, although funny, was not the only unpunished 141 offence. Yes we were ahead and no the extra points wouldn't of made a difference but it appeared, at the time, as if we were being screwed.

ChriZ - no I didn't quote the complete conversation only the relevant pieces. To powertrips credit you marshalled the other games we played faultlessly - especialy against Hardcore.

Wadidiz - you can't compare your good natured, slightly disturbing stunt :D

Waddiz: Comedy incident

Guys,

I can't tell you what happened because I didn't see it myself but it did involve Steve, a thong and several Russian Legion players lighting him up as he ran up the centre of the field.

Not my cup of tea but each to his own.

Can I just say that the marshal’s did a great job at this event particularly the guy's on fields 2-4 who had virtually no room to work with and were shot so many times working in very hot conditions I am amazed they kept going. Marshalling is hugely important to a successful event but sometimes I see the field conditions making the job harder than it should be.

In fact does anyone else think there should be some kind of guidelines regarding the conditions the marshals have to work in and what exactly is expected from them at a tournament?

How do the marshals from this event and the series feel about this?

Alan.................

If you don't get much response to this, Alan, it is because many of the refs are at the NJ NPPL Super 7 event.

I saw what the refs had to put up with them and really feel for them.

It was HOT!

And they did a great job.:)
