I thought there was a ferry that ran between Newcastle and Goteburg, in Norway / Sweden or that part of the peninsular, whould it not be worth looking onto this if costs may be an issue?

2 tickets with Ryan Air costs £130 (all in for airport tax etc)

A ferry from Newcastle to Goteburg 1 car 2 passengers.......£723.20

So I guess it will be the plane then

It pays to keep looking

I just did Ryan Air to the other airport in Stockholm (don't know how far that is from the place) but I got (for 2 people inc airport tax etc) a return flight for £93.46 leaving UK on the 30th July and returning on the 9th August, (weds 2 Sat)

OK It means another week out there but thats cheap.

Even if I do it from 30th to the 4th it costs £133.46

Can any one also please enlighten me to the cost of things in Sweden, I hear a pint of beer is £7

What are the costs of hotels like and to eat etc etc etc
