OK I'll get e-mails to everyone once my mail account gets working again, down at the moment for some reason, probably maintenance at this time on a Sunday night

The weather is a bit of a killer ATM. Went to POA near Worthing yesterday, despite the rain and gale winds :D First game with my new gun (got a Shocker BTW Jackal), not ideal conditions to test out the accuracy LOL. Managed to get 6 games in before we called it a day. Great fun :) Spent all night stripping and cleaning the gun; a nice mixture of rain, mud, **** and straw, got absolutely everywhere.

Anyway we'll get something sorted soon!

Hey mate,

Maybe I can tag along to LPS when you go next month ;->

POA is north of Worthing, just over 20 miles from Brighton. It's basically 3 playing arenas in a farmers field - one Sup'Air field, one bale field, and one "Attack/Defend" field which consists of some crates and barrels. It doesn't sound a lot but I had fun there, even though the field was flooded and it also looks to be used by live stock in the week [i.e. **** all over the place!]. The guys running it are a good laugh, and they're pretty cheap (£30 for the day including kit and 500 balls). Had a good day out, even if a newbie did shoot me when I'd bunkered him and told him to surrender! I still classify myself as a newbie but with my new gun I felt obliged not to hammer them too hard... that'll teach me to be nice ;->

I think I got a good deal on the gun - Eclipse Shocker with 20oz Co2 and bottom line for £450. Guns in pretty good condition, obviously been used a bit but that's not really important to me, guns are going to get beat up you buy the things to use them not look at them! I'm a bit pissed as the guy I bought it off said it was in great working condition; I had to take him on his word as I wouldn't be able to test it out as I couldn't borrow a car to get to Birmigham. Yes I know you shouldn't buy something until you've tried it out but nevermind! First time I gassed the gun up it started pissing out Co2 from inside the body. A few frantic phone calls only to find out Planet's air-smith was away on holiday and Smart Parts required me to send it in. Now I didn't want to take it apart myself, plus the Dow 33 hadn't arrived from Planet yet, but I decided to risk it and opened the gun, and amazed myself by quickly finding the problem - the glide ring was knackered. Replaced it (luckily I'd bought a spares kit in advance) and I was ready to rock and roll ;) Fired off a load of balls in the garden and all was well. I can't comment on the guns accuracy at all at the moment as my gardens like 5 feet wide and the conditions on Saturday were ****. I also had feeder problems. I'm running a brand new Ricochet 2k (new 2002 model) and it really wasn't doing it's job, the rotors rarely turning. Now the guns all cleaned up I'm going to test it out later today. I figure it was playing up either because it was a very wet day, or because I've not really set it up yet. It works fine triggering the sensor with my finger.

I'm not moaning really!

Right going to fire off some emails tomorrow and try to get this game going.

Cheers

Yeah you're welcome to come along if you like, the next walk on is on 24/2/02. Let me know.

It was a real good day about 40 people turned up and we got split up into 4 teams. I've got a dark angel and in one game I used about 700 paintballs, it was real manic. I was on the left side and 2 guys tried to sneak round, I got one of them and then spent 10 mins returning fire on the other one. I got hit a couple of times but luckily the paint bounced off. My brother has an autococker but he could'nt use it on Sunday as it has just had a blade trigger put on it and was not timed up well enough so he had to use his spider shutter. I've also got a revolution with intellifeed and planets spider impeller, that works fine and kept the angel fed well all day.

It costs about £22 for the day with all your air or co2 included (also lunch), or about £58 with all the above and also 2000 paintballs. Good value.

Anyway speak to you soon.
