Superbowl of paintball??

Gyro, appreciate the comments. Am I somewhat dreamin'? You bet. That's what starts every great thing, someone's dream. The Wright brothers, Erik the Red, Marco Polo, Louie Pastuer, just to name a few. And you can be sure there have been millions more that have had dreams that have come to fruition.
So is what I dream possible? I believe so. Two years ago there were many that thought XBall would never survive. Look at it now!
1. While the PSP may be a proud group of men, I think they're also some of the people that had dreams and help get us where we are today. I also believe them to be intelligent, and if something like this would truly benefit the sport and their financial situation, I feel they would swallow their pride....they are not stupid men (though some may have different opinions here )
2. Regarding crowds, I believe HB to be an exception. Believe me, if there was an event held in Time Square, there would be considerably more people "spectating" than HB! I don't believe that HB draws crowds because paintball is there, I believe the crowds are already there and just happen to watch because it's something new to them.
If the top 20 teams in the world were to compete for a large payout, and the event was held in LA, do you think that you could draw crowds to watch? LA is one of the paintball meccas, and I would think you could draw the players to witness the event.
3. I'm not talking a video, but pay-per-view. How many people pay to watch a wrestling match? Or a concert? I don't think it unreasonable to think that players would pay to watch it live for $10.
4. This is where people smarter than I come into play. There are corporations outside of paintball that are already stepping up to support us. Atari, BenQ, and others are already jumping in. With the right marketing people is it unreasonable to think others couldn't be added? And if they get added, one would think having something like this would only increase their interest (and hopefully contributions). This could translate into more money for prizes. And if this idea took off, player salaries would soon follow because teams would want the best in order to make it to the Superbowl and a shot at all it would bring exposure-wise.

I'm looking at it, and I see it closer to becoming extinct than before....
I do agree that it sometimes takes a dreamer to start the landslide, but don't forget that for every dream that comes true, a million more get broken.
