Recruitment update for Super6/5: Staargate - the UKPSF Offical Big Game and the UK's oldest Scenario Event (11 years!).

The sides are still pretty even with the 10th Legion extending out their lead on the back of the recruitment efforts of TalkPaintball Thunder. But it is leading to a serious lopsided look to their Army which could lead to a very interesting 'game on'. The 13th are making steady progress under Centurion PapaG and may well prove to be the 'pointed tip' of the Roman dagger.
Meanwhile, Staargate has almost perfectly balanced forces under their command with the SGC and Russians both fielding sizable armies. However, they are going to have a headache to deal with as one of them will be facing off against a vastly superior force at 'game on' if current recruitment trends continue.
It's intriguing.

MODS v Rockers
The centrepiece of the Saturday activities will be a 2 hour special scenario game featuring the Moderators of UK Scenario and Talkpaintball against everyone else.
The final touches are being made to the game design and the battle will be marshalled by the Shoreline Rangers. But expect a combination of sneaky beaky stuff raging all over the park as well as a ball out, blood and thunder toe to toe gunfight.
As a Moderator on UKS, Tim will also be taking to the field to play alongside his fellow Moderators in a rare outing with a gun in his hands at one of his own events.
The MODS are being pretty cocky behind the scenes and think they have this one sewn up.............it'll be a chance for us players to take them down a peg or two

The classroom session for the Super6 Academy will be aimed at new players as an introduction to scenario and Big Game paintball - but we recommend that even experienced players come along for half an hour and listen in and contribute where need be. With much talk in recent weeks of how to smooth the process of bringing in new players, this session will hopefully be the first step towards that process. The session will be run in the evening just before the player party to give as many people as possible the chance to attend.

We can confirm that all players over the age of 18 will once again receive free pyro from the fantastic Enola Gaye. With the 'pyro kills' rule in place for this game, your free pyro will come in very very handy!

The player party at Staargate is always pretty legendary. The infamous Shoreline Bull has long written its name into scenario folklore and this year will see the Super6 girls straddle the beast......hmmm.
The Shoreline Rangers will be on hand with their very own traditional Staargate moonshine which not only will strip the walls, but also raises loads of cash for charity.
In a change to previous years, lots of teams and players will this year be sticking around for the party. The entire MOD team from UK Scenario will be staying on site for the party instead of slinking back to their hotels for an early night like they usually do. So this years party look set to be the best yet, grab a beer and take the chance to party and meet lots of the guys on this forum and put faces to names.
