Due to getting a motorbike soon to occasionally get to training/tourney's when car isnt available, I want a backpack that will carry the basics of what I need.

E.g. Gun, Bottle, Goggles, pots, (possibly some tools), cleats (maybe).

Cant really get an idea of what the sizes are like from the pictures you get on websites.

Anyone suggest a backpack that will carry this load fairly comfortably?

something you might want to consider first is that the backpack will destabilze you as a rider...now i dont know what sort of bike you are planning on riding...but if possible i would suggest getting a pair of pillion bags (they hang 1 either side of the bike) spread you kit between them to keep the balance even and you should be sorted.

now if you are against the idea of pillion bags then proto do a nice back pack that can hold your kit for a day or if you can get one...a dye gun slinger bag is also a good option.

a couple of suggestions...i hope they help...

Something I should have mentioned in my first post....

I understand about the weight distribution, and how it may unbalance me. Also that if I came off the bike with a bottle and gun on my back it might cause some damage (not only to me, but to my gun :p).

Why I want to keep it as small as possible, with only bare minimum.

For example, the Dye BackPacker (http://gearedup-uk.com/shop/product_info.php/cPath/95_99_129/products_id/839)

Small, secure, fits on your back very nicely... but would it have enough room to get gun, bottle in main compartment?

Any information from anyone who has back packs :)

I dunno... maybe rig that machine gun up to fire paintballs and ride it into a 5man game, other team might move a bit quicker

no keep the mg and just get it to fire paintballs lol....then making the snake shouldnt be such a big issue lol.

on topic...the back packer is almost the same as the gun slinger minus the outer attachment for markers....

you should be able to get most of you kit in...
i usually manage to fit 12 pots, trousers, jersey, gloves, doo rag, knee pads, barrels and spares inside my bag with my boots, mask and marker on the outside with room to spare....

if you wear things like your playing trouser and jersey when you ride then yeah it should all fit....also you probably dont have the same pot affliction i have...

**edit** suns getting a gunslinger might be a case of hunting the forums as i dont think dye actually sell them anymore.

just get a big kit bag with wheels and hook it to the back - just dont go round sharp corners

the empire rogue backpac is great and ve carried all my kit in it with no problems (cleats, bottle, gat, barrels, toolkit, spares, pack, pads, jersey)

i have left the sport for the time being and have one for sale, dont think they make them anymore.

let me know if interested. its used but decent nick ,couple of tears but nothing critical.
