A.B - whilst I have every sympathy for your predicament (having suffered knee injuries in the past myself), wearing Kneepads under the C4 pants would give you a measureable advantage when it come to bouncers, and I personally wouldn't side with you on this issue.

I would however have no problem in you wearing a proper knee support under your C4's if you are worried about injury - just not a bouncy paintball knee pad:)

Let's face it Pinky DYE knee pads are most definatley quite hard injection molded foam stuff and are basically knee supports with some hard foam on the front.

*note to self dig out old full length trace pads and wear normal DYE pants for next leg

yeah thats true the DYe knee pads are quite hard and doubt wud promote bouncing that much,

what about the new empire tourney pants, the nice new ones  i got a pair myself and they got a bit of padding around the knee, not as much at the C4's mind - but i guess it just there to stop it ripping around the knee from sliding, cud i still wear my ventz with them or wud it be too bouncey?

Kitch - it's much easier to say Knee supports only, otherwise people will start wearing other brands;) and god knows wear we'll end up
Wearing last years pants with Knee/Shin pads is a much safer option:p

Joe - the rule is One layer of padding - so even if the Empire pants are only slightly padded, that counts as one layer:)
