Seriously tho, screw the bottle in fully until it stops and the bottle is tight. The last thing you need is the bottle unscrewing half way through a game, not only could that wreck your gun, it could wreck you too:eek:

Hey your scaring me ;)

It won't wreck your gun, your gun just doesn't work with out air
and
if the tank drops of and lands on your foot you may break a toe
you will know if you haven't screwed it on far enough as you will hear an anoying hissing noice (air leaking) or a satisfiying 'silence' as the air seals

I probably scare you because i'm ugly, but after 20 years of marshalling i must stand by my statement, and do know what i'm talking about.

Having seen several Co2 bottles blown from the guns asa's where people had not screwed them on properly and the threads had stripped out under pressure, allowing the bottle to fly off in a big cloud of gas and noise, my statement was correct.

"You" made the assumption that he was talking about an "air bottle" which has steel threads as opposed to a more fragile Co2 bottle with brass threads.

I just covered both sides to be sure, no-one blew themselves up.

And before you retort about the fact that it's an unlikely thing to happen, i would agree but may i point out that it's unlikely that an air bottle would ever blow up either........oh hang on......Stako.
