NOOOOOO, agreed chrome is the be all and end all, but coloured shiney needs to be put in it's place (the bin). You can't beat a good dust

Simon, fades can be shiney! In fact a fade could be several different 'coloured shineys' in one go. What more could a player want?

Doh! Don't bring 'class' and 'style' into it! That's not fair as it rules out a lot of chrome stuff and very shineyness purely under the 'class' descrimination... but then 'style' lets it all back in so fair enough I guess.
I think you will find that dusts are usually made from shineys actually. Most dust products require 'polishing' before 'dusting' except where the 'dusting' is a blatant excuse to not have to do ANY polishing....
Also dusting is obviously a devious ploy to sell you stuff that wasn't good enough to be 'shiney' due to it having surface imperfections. You just know when you buy dust that you are buying a 'shiney' second
But hey if seconds are good enough for you

The one and only problem and that shiny things have is matching them as non-matching shiny things are almost as bad as dust stuff.

Ok, one question, eould you rather have the Gun Metal (dusted) Dye Autococker, or the blue or red (fade) Autococker?
Personally, I much preffer the Gun Metal version.

Now Dye products are a whole different thing. Everyone knows that putting a Dye label on anything increases the price and requirement factor way over what shineyness could ever do on it's own.
The question is have you ever seen a Shiney gun metal Dye Autococker? I'll bet not and I'll bet it kicks arse of the non-shiney gun metal autococker but Dye wants to let some other colours have a chance before supplying it... I might agree that dust gun metal beats the silver to blue or red shiney fades but that's because you aren't comparing fairly.
A shiney gun metal dye autococker with a lightening bolt and a flame drop forward would probably be close to ruling the roost. Ahh but it is lacking 'buttons' and 'LCDness'. Which are also important factors to consider...

Yeah shiney nickel doesn't really match shiney chrome. And sometimes even shiney things of the same colour aluminIum do not match... but then coloured 'non-shiney' (can't even say dust anymore) doesn't always match either...
