If you're talking about the disposable cylinders that use an adaptor, then it will come out, but they can get stuck as I've had the same happen when testing starter guns. Try and find someone with a big bench vice, wrap the adapter in some cloth or kitchen towel and clamp it firmly in the vice, then turn the gun slowly and you should get somewhere.

Stealing Al's PC parts
used to have loads of these at the site.

best thing to do is,

there should be a little hole in the adaptor, jam a screwdriver, allen wrench, whatever (something that is fairly long and quite strong and not too bothered if it breaks) jam that in there and twist out the allen or whatever you have in acts as a lever making it a bit easier to twist out

edit- now ive seen the pic it looks a bit crossthreaded (you might shag your asa up taking it out)

Whoa there mate, I doubt it's steel but instead nickel plated brass, so there's a good chance the ASA threads will be ok. Get it out with a vice etc then take a look at the threads inside the ASA and see how they are:)

It can happen that steel "freezes" to aluminium. In which case, you'll have to vice it out. Or mole grip it out.
