Well way not just dump the chump! he is the cause of most of the grief at the events, rule changing at MAX, ****ing things up for Mayhem, the players passes, updating the Millennium homepage / scores, charging promoters to be part of the series, etc.
Why don't the other promoters, who must all pretty much dislike him to say the least, start their own series, it would be a lot cheaper as they wouldn't have to pay for the Millennium Series rights, and we could get rid of the money making schemes like the player passes and hopefully, as there would be a bit of competition, raise the quality level of the events.

PS: as for the "cool inventions that removed paintball from the woods" , that wasn't his, he nicked the idea from another company who told him about it and who he then ****ed by patenting the idea before they got round to it...

Much as I hate to say it I'm not sniffing any conspiracy here. Something more on the order of Rancid's suggestion sounds closer to me. (Perhaps a nice nap and I'll regain my senses). Here's A Guy who from the things I've heard is driven to be the best, the biggest, the most acclaimed, etc. and as the stakes and the competition rise so too the lengths A Guy is willing to go to field the best team, have the best event and so on.

Which is just one more reason to diversify roles in the pb community and continue working on appropriate checks and balances to maintain some semblance of a level playing field.
