Call me wierd, but here's something I could do with knowing.
I heard (from a rather tired drunken friend) that there's no such thing as DOT and HSE anymore, just one standard for bottles, and if I had, say, a DOT bottle in the UK, all I would have to do is get it tested and it's cool to use in this country.
Now, I've heard nowt about this, so I'm wondering if it's true?
If it is complete rubbish (which I suspect), it still made me think, if I submit a DOT bottle to a UK (ie HSE) re-test, does that make the bottle legal to use, as it's passed a HSE-standard hydrostatic retest.
I can't see why not (apart from the bottle being stamped DOT rather than HSE), but then the re-test label should say HSE on it somewhere, right?
Anyways, enough of my rubbish, I shouldn't be allowed to post after a long day coding Java and setting up network routers, followed by a "few" down the pub.
