if you have a zip up gear bag, stick a mini padlock on the zips (through the holes) and padlock the handles to the post of the marquee that you are in (or something else solid).

failing that: how much is a midget? ;) :D

develop a reputation for being slightly unbalanced and able to track by smell.
That's kept the b@stards of so far :)
Only thing is to keep it all together in locked bags which are in turn chained to a fixed object............. either that or start getting decent security at events.
Stuffs getting nicked more often as the sport becomes more well known. A year ago you could leave kit laying about pretty much. right now it may well walk.
Problem is it only took for one pikey to realise that we are very trusting/stupid and leave £1000's of easily portable kit laying about. that's on the pikey grapevine now......... I'm sure every tourney venue has local villains.......... they are all now aware of the easy pickings.
(not just markers either......... playing fee, paintbill, money to buy shiney things, petrol money, mobile phone......... it's all in that side pouch on your gear bag isn't it?)

Surely by now in this day and age of electronic markers gun manufactures should be able to put in a chip like dogs ave and if recovered be able to be scanned and returned to there owners i know of some markers have a pin number to put in to use the gun but how many people use them:(

Security is getting to be a big issue now at events big or small something needs to be done about it

Make sure you get it insured on your Household insurance this covers you when you are at tourneys if the thieving *******s turn up with bolt cutters i have both my markers insured and air systems it covers me for about £3000 worth of kit
