well i saw this on PBnation so i thought i would go ahead and do it. well basically what it dose it File/grind off the extra metal that dose not actually get used and just makes it heavier and gives it a bad air flow. Suposedly with this done you can lower dwell and pressure and in theory makeing the gun more efficent. well as i have a unicorn bolt in my gun it cant help to go ahead with it. Now this has taken me about 2 hours of fileing as i dont have access to a grinder and it could easily go completly wrong with a grinder. Well here is some finished pictures if you have any questions dont hesitat to ask me. I will update later on when i have found out if it works;)

i may also keep fileing more and more off to see how thin it can get befor it snaps.

This mod works, but only to a certain extent. The 'fins' that you have filed off are also a guide for the donut inside the chamber.

If you file the 'fins' past a point, which probably have having just randomly filed it, then bolt is actually using more effort, and therefore air, to slide through the donut.

basically before, the 'fins' would not slide past the donut and so the bolt is located inside the donut already. Not the 'fins' slide outside the donut and have to locate inside the donut every time the bolt moves.

Nice try, but it only works (works as in makes thing more efficient etc) if you know what you're doing :)
