right, the time i heard of this was..uh...2 or three seasons ago...the only time i saw this rule to be enforced was at the north-german league 2001...look at the mags...nobody seems to care.
so, take those stickers of your eyes next time you read the rules:D

From a marshalling point of view the stickers can be missleading.

If I look over to see what "appears" to be a mark on the players hopper, and I have to spend time moving towards him to check, then find out it's only a sticker, it means that it has taken away my concentration from another player that in the meantime may get shot.

yeah, i use to have stickers ready on the field, when i get under fire i quickly put a sticker on my hopper to confuse the marshall, if he comes over to check me i call a code and my wingman makes a runthrough ending in a superman dive(a.k.a. marshall i just fell over and landed in a pile of paint oooooppsssss):D :D :D


no, seriously it is a problem fpr marshalls but a hopper is such a good advertising zone, it MUST be used. i think the rules say something like black and white coloured stickers are allowed or something, maybe there is some way to please everybody...
