The weekend of Campaign was a great fun experience, and definitely the best Campaign I've been to so far. But one incident reminded me of something that commonly is forgotten about in our sport. Good sporting conduct. Or gentlemanly conduct if you prefer to call it.
Im referring to Sandbaggers and their willingness to give up a potential podium place to play a one on one against another team that would have missed out on a top 4 slot because their team name was alphabetically. Sandbaggers asked to play a 1 on 1 against the team to determine who would go through. Something many, if not most, other teams would not have done.
In addition to this one of our guys (JJ) marker was found to be not set to Millennium settings on Sunday afternoon, (its an Etek3 and he changed the battery overnight which reset all the settings.) GWC Allstars had just finished, and Lemon very kindly gave JJ her marker to use for the rest of the games of the day.
Im wondering if anyone else experienced such sporting conduct ??
