I was pretty sure that most of the avenues had been explored with regards to your intended thread subject.

If a truly "sponsored" team disrespects their sponsor and/or equipment and said sponsor finds out about this then I'm sure everyone would expect disciplinary action to be taken.
This should also be taken against "supported" teams in differing degree's of harshness dictated by the level of their support and the level of their misdemeanour.

The question of WHO should be telling the sponsor about the actions of the team/players is irrelevant. As with every facet of life, there will always be someone who feels they should interfere, and if thats what you like doing then you should do so, but a lot of people would just shrug their shoulders and sigh. Information like this has a nice way of managing to find its way to the people that need to know it eventually, and thats life.

People who don't know how to behave as "sponsored" or "supported" players normally don't spend very long as such, and rightly so. (of course there are always exceptions to every rule).

All of which has already been stated in this thread I believe.

Life !! Get one!!
Hey Psycho, there's a thread somewhere about the 2000 world cup. You should get on there and tell people what you think about the Jeremy Salm sniper incident, like, totally!

See you over there in a bit. I'm stunned by the news, Avalanche are my favorite team ever (or rather they were untiol now). So gutted!
