quite simple really, i spotted the idea on an american pb site and thought id try it....not actually done it yet but i now have all the stuff to do it......basically you need a clear hopper to start with
and the right sort of dye heated to the right temp....and soak the hopper parts for the right amount of time.
i know it works on clear revvies bit clear riccos, halos and eggs are all different sorts of plastic (tougher) so im not sure how well the colour would take....if i can get hold of some parts im gonna try it...you can do fades on em to!

Halo shells take RIT dye well. Soak in white vinaegar then rinse to lock in color.

this may prevent you from passing hydro test though. you may just want to buy a new co2 tank or a nitro tank when the time comes because testing is about as expensive as a new tank. if you fail the hydro test, you still have to buy a new tank. it is allowed for tournaments though.
