Ions prolly a nicer alrounder i'd say, but the angel would be faster and more reliable, if your buying for the odd bit of recball fun id go with the angel, but if your buying for tourny then id get the ion for sure.

This is a recently milled lcd, had it here a few weeks ago. The marker is everything a spitfired lcd should be, fast, reliable and has fantastic break beam eyes.
Far better quality than the ion.

the earlier angels that have spitfire mods done are way better than ions, altho they will be heavier.

the reliability is second to none, and backup is superb, as they (john and tom) stand by their work.

never met tom, but john is a nice guy, very easy to talk to, even tho they beat us in the 7man:mad:

So for rec games you'd take out a marker that's faster, more reliable and more durable, and for tourneys you'd bust out the Ion? Me, I'd take the Spitfire'd angel any day of the week. On any field, against any team. They're great guns, and with the Spitfire mod, they're super fast with no chops. The only thing the Ion has over it would be weight.
