Paint to barrel match (I know you said, "other than the barrel", but a good multi-bore system, so you can match your paint to your barrel, would really make a world of difference), a good reg (Sidewinder and CP come highly recommended), and an air system (you can't afford NOT to have air, a cheap system only costs around $80 these days, and would vastly improve your consistency, and thus your perceived accuracy) would help immensely. Air is infinitely better than Co2, especially on an electropneumatic like the Bushmaster. A new high flow bolt might be good too.

you have just anwserd your own question;) ,any paint resadue in the barrel will stick to the balls making them heavyer on one side, this causes them to "hook" to one side when they leave the barrel:)

i have got it

i believe that the gun is shooting like off course cos the gun was designed to use air. I was lead to believe that the draw back from using co2 is that it goes through the gun wierd and that is our problem.

That is my opinion and some advice from a mate. But still run it through the co2 and when you get a chance run it through some air and see if their is any difference.

ermmmmmmmmm,nope wrong
bushys can use co2 or air
doesn't make any differance what gas is pushing the ball if the barrel is dirty your going to hook
ps rain andwind can also make them hook;)
