Ol' Jim Lad
I have recently purchased a Bushmaster 2000 which came with a 14" dye boomstick, it's setup on co2 and the preasure is at roughly 250psi
when i was playing my paintballs were spinning off after 20 meters or so
i don't know what the problem is
any ideas?

cheers

A boomstick is a great barrel........

Tips here:-

1. Only use good quality paint.

2. Check your velocity with a cronograph. Set it to around 285.

3. Keep your barrel clean AT ALL TIMES.

If you have a break in the barrel, just firing another ball will not be sufficient to clean it. Use a sqeegie...

Setting the velocity lower will not help with 'spin off' or whatever you called it. Just KEEP IT CLEAN.

Paint too small for the barrel? Put one of the paintballs into the barrel and look through it at a light source, a perfect match is when the paint has 3 points of contact with the barrel (pretty hard to get unless you have lots of diff paint and barrels to choose from). If you can use the barrel as a blowpipe and there's a little resistance when trying to blow the paint out it should be fine.

It sounds like tha paint was throwing it off. If you have paint in the barrel, accuracy goes dowb the toilet :)

Accuracy is mostly dependant on barrel/paint size match and what qualty paint you are using, top tourney paint is gonna shoot a LOT straighter than site paint!
