So what if people dont spell, this isn't an English lesson is it?
Why am I strangely not bothered

And no, it's not an English lesson, but it would be common courtesy.

No, it isn't. Does that however mean we should all degenerate into 'Ali G' like mobile phone talk because it is easier? There is honour and manners in showing people respect by addressing them and others in a semblance of the language we all speak (to varying degrees).

Don't think spell check would necassarily be a bad thing, but people are lazy enough in their spelling and punctuation as it is, it would give them one less reason to make an effort.

It's not so much the spelling that's the problem, it's the clumsy errors that tend to appear out of nowhere (big fingers, probably), and typo errors.

Remind me not to get an Angel if their techs have "big fingers" that make "clumsy errors".....;) :D

Geeks

Youre all turning us into geeks. WE ARE PAINTBALL PLAYERS NOT ENGLISH GRADUATES.

Personally i do not waste my time in spell and grammar checking. Take it as it is, you know the outline topic is paintball and you get the idea of what the person is going on about. Their is no need to go on and on and on about this. So what if some people cant spell properly I havent got a problem with that. I make mistakes on posts.

I know of at least two paintball players who are to a certain degree dyslexic. Meet them on the field and they will tear you a new ar*e hole. As ballers on P8 does that make them not welcome.

As I have said before who is the intelligent one.
The spell checker or the person who knows that someone else is going to do it for them.

I know who my monies on.

Nexty you'll have a debating society.

Play paintball or go on Countdown.

Now I know that youre gonna waste your time checking this, so you carry on and be a geek

Personally, whilst I can tolerate bad grammar, I consider poor spelling to be unforgiveable in the age of spell-checking. Not using it is just being downright lazy and inconsiderate

On the other side of the coin why should others be expected to waste their time trying to decipher the often abysmal postings of those who think their time is more valuable? :p

One of my friends at University was highly dyslexic. He still got his Degree... because he used a bloody spell-checker on his essays.

It's not a question of intelligence but rather consideration for others

Do you spell check everything you post?

Oh come on, surely it cant affect you that much that some postings would actualy raise your blood pressure by your last statement it seems that it does exactly that.

well done to him. But that was for a degree this is a message board.
