Am I the only one who thought the new Speed was bloody awful? The front reg is vile and along with the grip frame is not colour matched, the milling on the body is non existant, the panel grips aren't very nice and a rip-off of the hybrid ones, the display is unclear and doesnt seem very intuitive for set-up and where the battery stack was is just empty space which seem like a total waste of space.

I always liked the whole concept that the Angel was a well made prestigue product that is the 'Most advanced paintball marker in the world'.....The new speed just felt cheap, tacky and derivative. I'd much rather have a Euro Angel for about the same price.

Got to agree... me no likey :(

The frame look like the OTB ones for impys etc and a bit of an after thought to the marker with it not being matched in colour.

I do like the new grips though (like Hybrid ones so these rip offs were bound to please) :)

The overall look of the gat to me is its been cobbled together from ideas of a few completely different projects...

No doubt it will perform the nuts though :p

Liam, you marker whore...:)

The new grip frame and front grip, are the fore runner to what may be a new shape for the angel. Think about it, if the original battery has been moved, and the lpr was moved, then there would be no need for the space where it was.

= New body shape, one tube under the barrel...

I like the new foregrip as I think it will be lot comfier. I admit it looks odd at first but it's only because all angel foregrips/regs have been the same look for so long. I also like the complete lack of milling, nice and easy to wipe down after a days play etc I would prefer an all in one colour though but I thought you could get it in solid black anyway? Or am I wrong?

I think the new trigger looks awesome, can't wait to see how good the bearing/magnet combo is. I also like the more spacious trigger guard.

Hate that it uses a 9v, it's one of the major benefits to having an Angel, the fact that you can just charge you marker as you drive to the tourney. Hope the next Big upgrade (e.g. A5) keeps a rechargeable and comes with an intellifeed socket as standard.

I also like that the new grip/frame has a sort of built in snatch grip.

The panelled grips are slightly cheesy but think how much the american kids will love them, especially when WDP release a plethora of variations to bespoke your Speed 05 with.
