As for the chopping - mine was cured by moving the ram forward - so the bolt 'clicks' when you close the breech (because the bolt moves forward). This stops roll-back, therefore stopping the 2nd ball in the stack from dropping down and getting chopped!

depends... the way i look at it, the mod is 120, then add the value of your gun, 130 (?) so that comes to £250, can you get anything better for £250?

I got my a4 done a while ago and it was a different marker to the standard a4. No regrets about the mod at all. Also the support at Spitfire is very good, John will answer all your questions and fix any faults.

I know i have wasted a bit of peoples time but i am looking for a newer gun and spitfireing the 04 was a possibillity. I was only seeing what people thought of this mod and if it made much of a difference because £130 is more than what i payed for the gun. I also have fixed all the leaks on the gun so i thought i would try my luck again and no takers so it looks like im stuck with this till i can afford to spitfire it.

Luke - I think you should look up the term 'credibility'.

This is probably why your 04 didn't sell. Save up and get it spitfired. Then you 'may' be able to sell it. A stock-boarded 04 is worthless these days (I know - I've got 2 of them!).

I understand that this is a quite old gun but no harm in trying ay

I am now on the long road to saving my money for this spitfire mod.

A quick question do i have to pay for postage both ways (to and from spitfire) ???????
