Ok guys this is interesting have a look at what these guys have been saying.

But first am i right in saying that the smartparts patent for an electronically firing paintball gun, and all relevant practices to make it so, was done in 1997. If this is so how many paintball guns with an electronically firing, circuit board aided gun were made before this??

go aka cos your kit rocks.but arent sp just doing what japanese manufacturers do by patenting every aspect of a product that they make so all baes are covered(read this in a book called rising sun,cannot remember the author but the so called film they made starred sean connery and wesley snipes).but the book goes into quite some detail into usa and japanese patent laws and rights and its quite scary that even if you make something you dont even own it rights unless you have all the related patents:eek: so when are sp going to stop pissin about on the small fry and take on the big companys wdp (cough)wgp etc instead of being the paintball playground bullies,theres enough of us ballers to buy everyones bit of shiny stuff without resorting to putting companies out of business ,so sp youve had some good times with the impy and the freak and the maxflo but progress has been made and companies are making better gear so instead of destroying and monopolizing IMPROVE YOUR GEAR instead of feeding us a line of when gear is available like you normally di(NEW MAXFLO SHOULD BE IN THE MONTH AFTER CAMPAIGN quote which one 2003 or 2004)
