There will be a summer tourney at Ground Control pbg.. all airball, top tourney marshalling and HP air.

Followed by a mad barbeque/pissup on the beach to finish the day! (Beach is only 3mins away!)

SWPL Leg 5 this Sunday, then Leg 6 on March 2nd (Sup'Air and more Sup'Air). Also, 3 excellent events during the warmer months:

7-Man Indoor
Showtime, Bristol on 27th April 2003.

3-Man Bedlam
Venue TBA on 18th May 2003.

Heaven's Gate
7-man, two-day event at Chapel Gate Sports Centre, Bournemouth on 26-27th July 2003.

Plus the excellent Gorando RFC event in June as Leg 1 of SWPL 2003/04 and that series continuing proper every 4-5 weeks from August.

"Quality tournaments down south will be sadly lacking this year." - Don't think so! You've got more than enough to choose from with the M25 as well. Spoilt.... plain spoilt.

Make the Heaven's Get event it's gonna be truly spectacular. I've been to the venue and it is wicked only Campaign can rival it for venue in the UK.

B a little tight at Showtime they can take the Areana back a little but i reckon u could squeeze 7 in there.

As for Chaple Gate it's right near Bournemouth Airport (Hurn) 5 - 10 mins away from the centre of town! and it's gonna be big !

Whats the format for this 7-man tourney at Showtime?

My concern is that there is only just enough room for decent 5 man stuff? Don't you think that it may a bit tight for the fields with that amount of people let alone the amount of additional barricades that in theory are needed, that is if you are going to have any more? Should be a laugh granted but need to consider that everyone there is not going to be running over themselves and if people are not happy they are going to slag it off afterwards?

Just thinking of the SWL's best interests matey
