There's only one pub in Pompey worth drinking in...the Mary Rose..aka "The Hairy Nose!"...which prompted that age old favorite saying..."I'm just off up the hairy nose"!"...it also used to be a good spot to pick up naive student girlies...which led to "I'm just off up the Hairy Nose for a quick poke!"

...errr...at least that's what I've been told anyway...don't ask me where it is...haven't a clue..neither have I ever been arrested in their car park...it was someone who looked like me...

Of course there's always the Mucky Duck...if it's still there and Joe Spanners (or Joannas as some people actually called it) on Southsea seafront, my personal favourite...not that I've been there either you understand...Wonder if it's that's still there too? Must be...they built Pompey around it...the Romans even went there...

As for Pompey Uni training...I believe Matt told me their next actual training session is scheduled for 10 minutes after hell freezes over ...having said that they've manage two international tourneys this year and are expected to kick butt on Saturday...

I figured you guys might have persuaded (or antagonised) Scum-hampton Uni to put a team in...

Mucky Duck - that name rings bells, but I'm not sure if it is still known as that.

Joannas is still there - standard joke to play on Freshers is to tell them to go there and ask for Student Discount - if they get past "Stu.." then they're doing well, it's not what you'd call student friendly

Does the indoor count as an international tourney? If so that makes three, but then again, tiz but a shed in Wolverhampton

Well, I'm sure the other unis will try and keep up once we hit the bar... I've been in deep training for that event for the past couple of weeks

For the past few years (well, since I've been in Pompey) most of the other uni's around here have been too scared to play us - either that, or us students couldn't organise a...

Anyways, I'm looking forward to playing limited paint again (after my first experience at STB in the 2-man), especially as I've just got a couple of bits to make my cocker even faster
