Right now im using a Bone Daddy, stock, no upgrades... i got it for $50 with a mask.

Iv had it for a year and i have only hada couple problems recently.
i had to cut the spring about 1/4 of an inch and the velocity adjuster fell out :)eek: ) when i tripped over a bunker :)o )

EDIT: yah so i guess inexpensive does mean cheap

Just an example

You dont need to run a Cocker on air, you can use Co2...but thena gain, an N2 tank and preset reg isnt terribly expensive to be honest..most sites out there do air/N2 dont they?
Its just tat..ok...youve played with your kit, got it failry cheap which is lucky...but had you paid $200 for that kit, which you could have done...thats $200 down the drain..same can happen when you upgrade to another marker...seriously...you can get a cocker real cheap...someone sold an older right hand feed one for £40 the other day...!

as i said buy a DECENT mask first and save for a decent marker, you already said you have a cheap blowback(bone daddy) why buy another?,also if you dont play alot buying another cheap marker is pointless

You just dont give up on the used-gear do you....?

I dont know about buying used.... My cousin bought a used C98 w/ RT and it was a POS.

What do you guys think of the Spyder Fenix? It got some preety good reviews on pbreview.com and fits more easily budget ;). I can get one $320 (canadian cuency sucks x_x) or cheaper from Ebay or something. I might sign up for a tourneywith my buddies and I can get a Fenix (along with all the other junk i need) in time. Do you think its a good tourny marker?

Heheh, so many questions.

Seriously...we will never recommend you buy a brand new anything if you are on a budget...period. Certainly not a spyder anything, unless its an electro, but still...ultimately...a bit iffy, depends how far you expect to go...your mates C98...was a POS to start with, and they dont get better with age!!!

If you really want to buy something new, the BKO is inexpensive, fast, and overall, a pretty good marker (and it runs CO2 ok). They're even cheaper used (like $250 US). Think about one of those. On gogs, I can highly recommend the Flex 7/Pro Flex, my personal favorite. Sounds like you're on a tight budget, and used is cheaper, you should really think about it.

I found some nice stuff on Ebay.

An Imagine or a E99-Avant for around $150 US with a HALO B Backman and a 20ozer, new too, so I can get some better goggles or a new barrel right when i get it. I considered buying them a few months back, but didnt because I had to spend the money to fix up my computer.

Does anyone have experiance on which might last longer and is more upgradeable?
