well have you tried turning it off and then on again.....that is the most tried and tested computer problem solving thing........and why am i not sane......

as for the secret windows level, i have heared of this happening.......what windows do you run??? cos after you play for about half an hour on SOF1 on XP (at least on my comp) all textures become weird and there seem to be a white shape of a dead person on all the walls.......

now i am not seeing things and this is not meant to happen but it adds a cool "scooby doo" meets "blair witch" feel to the game......lol:rolleyes:

Rancid, id make sure youve installed all of the updates available for the game (go to the raven website) and all of the latest drivers installed for your video and sound card. You could try running the game on lower graphics settings.
Its usually one or a combination of the above, either that or youve got a bad CD with files missing, get it replaced. If your using a pirate version of the game it could be anything.

If the game runs totally fine up until that point it sounds most likely that the game installation is bad, your best bet is to reinstall the game, it should give you the option to backup your saved games.

Is BF1942 like MOH:AA, if it is then its sold!
It ain't. The only similarity is that it's a WWII game as well.
BF'42 will let you hop in all sorts of vehicles, like tanks and planes, even aircraft carriers, and blast the crap out of eachother. But it doesn't have the nailbiting tension of MOH:AA.

Dammit! I've been suckered into a nerd thread! :D
