I cant see from the pics but does that back half of the valve have the z pin? If not wouldn't that make it a colonial?
I would not know i was not sure on the valve myself so i posted pics up on automags.org and was told it was an early level 7 here's a link to the information i was given

I didn't spot the z pin either - has the rail got a slot for one? Could be a colonial/mag hybrid bitsa. The regulator seal looks bigger and the wrong colour material compared to regular L7 mag valves. But it may just be knackered and need replacing?
