Mike Ratko, NXL commissioner, cancelled it due to lack of European participation. Looks like only Russian Legion were willing and able to make the trip.
Division X Ball will still be interesting, however, especially if Russian Legion make it (I doubt they would miss it for their lives). Two of the Division X Ball fields will be staffed with Millennium's finest pro refs.

sux cause now the NXL teams won't get a playoff against RL. Maybe they'll let the two winners play anyhow, like an exhibition match or something.

When we signed up for EXL we had set our goal as placing top four at each leg to guarantee a place in the NXL/ EXL showcase, but due to the strain of what was equivilent to running two teams on one teams budget we have ended the year severely handicapped finacially.
We have, and continue to, support X-ball and thank Richmond and all our sponsors for all their help, but we are currently looking at also sourcing sponsorship from outside the paintball industry.
At our recent Pro-school in Amsterdam a couple of the players asked us what it was like to be paid to play paintball.
I wish I knew!!!!
Don't get me wrong compared to a lot of UK teams we are spoilt rotten but the team pays for all the trips abroad and none of us are millionaires( well haven't seen Pete's bank balance recently )
We wait with baited breath to see what next year brings, hopefully the people in the know will let us know sooner rather than later.
