well your average player uses a 1.1 4500 psi tank (in my opinion). but your budget dictates which gas you can get, which in turn dictates what gun you can get... you should also check if sites around you fill air or co2.

definitly go on the classifieds though, there was a whole gear bag, including an e1cocker, tank and hopper for £200 not so long ago:eek:

hope it helps:)

Like the title says, I'm new :p

I've been paintballing a few times at sites around where I live, 4 times in total, and I love it, so I want to buy my own gun.
I want to play alot of woodsball, because it just feels alot more tactical than running through a lil field of inflatable rubber dingies, but then i wouldnt mind playing sup'air too.

So, what gun do you think I should buy? I've read that tippmanns are good for beginners, cause they are durable and require little maintenance, but how well do they shoot, and are they good for both rec-ball and sup'air?
I've already brought some bits, gloves, harness, mask and knee pads. Just getting the bits and bobs till I know what marker I want.

If I was going to get the tippmann 98, or something in that sorta price area, I'd also like to get that J&J Ceramic self cleaning barrel, seen it on www.gizmos-uk.com for £30, which sounds like an alright price to me.

Also, could anyone recommend any decent places to go around Stevenage, Hertfordshire to go for walk on days or sup'air?

Suggestions?

Cheers.

isnt sup air inflatable rubber dingeys!!!!
