They're talking rubbish. With the exception of a handful of players in the world, nobody's shooting that fast legally sustained.

I'm sure Matski can elighten everyone more with the actual Specs of how this will all work (millsecond delay etc), but don't the proposed rules thus far hint at the 15 bps cap being measured over a string of x number of shots (hence allowing the odd ROF spike)? Hence anyone with a smi-only gun is pretty much safely covered.

Although the Egg is always an Option.

Stongle...you forgot two other options...

become more accurate with your marker and rely less on quantity (seems to work rather well with our US cousins)...

buy a slower gun and deal with the ridicule and humiliation that may come with it....

The Egg is definately the safest bet - within the first 5 shots the battery door will snap off, batteries falling to your feet thus reducing your ROF to 1 ball as quickly as you can put them in the top of your feed neck....

BTW the point wasnt who can shoot faster than 15bps i was asking how i prevent my gun from doing more than is required at milleniums

Wait and see what the Mill finally decides for the ruling (I suspect 99.9% of players will be safe as an average over 5 shots or something maybe the route they take).

If it is fixed semi only capped at 15 bps, the shot delay will be set to whatever a 15th of a second is. As you shoot a WDP gun, you'll likely gets lots of support and board reprogramming easily available.

And if your still really worried, buy an Egg.

have you ever played against a top US team? cos if you have then you will accept that they are deadly accurate and still hitting ball on ball at a squillion balls per second!

the one thing the US teams do is throw alot of paint, and include the accuracy and you have a facefull of paint comin your way!

From what I have seen of the loud end of American Pro teams - they certainly rely more on the accuracy - the speed is just an added bonus....
