will be interesting to see how much of the current ION upgrades are compatible, i mean by the sounds of it, it has a newer grip frame, different thread feedneck and BOB, but no indication of new board, and with the ROF the same, we assume that the noid is the same. Also the barrel is probably unlikely to change, maybe a little lighter. It will be also intereting to see whether this is a full BOB or just a semi, if full the fire chamber might be able to take the inserts for the EPI, making that upgrade kit obselete. I think that people wont go rushing out to buy this, but rather upgrade their ION, which im sure SP are banking on.

eos = new epiphany? i like the reg better then that of new shockers and ions. prefer the allen key grub in the bottom rather than using a big spanner.
ion xe = looks the same apart from the bolt being removed from the back instead of dismantling the entire marker

i like the look of the SP-1, compact, simple, good for a go round the woods. Im still thinking that the ION XE will be a semi BOB as the eyes and detents are not accessible. It will be a remove the rear screw sort of thing, then pull out the whole rear fire assembly

Why am i finding the cheapest model (Vibe) better looking than any of the others?

the body of the vibe looks like that of the shocker NXT?? i think thats the right model. looks nice though. i really like the look of the new style regs. i wonder if the new ion will have that or is the picture shown the final design?
+ still no clamping feedneck on the ion? would of thought as EVERYONE upgrades this 1st they mighta added one as stock :X

The Epiphany has been out for a year now, and it deserved an update, the current one is heavy, bulky and lacks the basics that its competition has, eg the PMR and MINI. I think that the BOB feature will help, and hopefully they will mill the crap out of it to get the weight down.
