just had a play with my freak factory impulse if you split the marker have a look at the board where the dwell holes line up with the board, there should be two buttons if so the button nearest the back of the gun is dwell down before you turn the dwell up/down turn the input down to about 150-180 then adjust the dwell to get 270-290fps,
if when you do open her up and the buttons are not there it is quite possible that it may be an upgraded board such as the was equilizer board if it is, it will say "was" on it somewhere let me know how it goes if it even helps at all
