I have a Spyder Sonix, completely stock, on 20oz CO2. when I go to chrono, I can't get the velocity up past 220-230 fps, no matter how much screw turning I do! Any ideas as to how I can 'make it faster, mister' ?

And yes, I know 300 fps is the max field velocity, but you all got cars/bikes that go faster than posted speed limits, right?:)

However when you hit someone in your car when you are breaking the limit you are off to prison more than likey.
In paintball we try to hit each other all the time.

230 is a bit low though, and as le-pig says you just need a new spring. Just dont go over 300fps mate its not worth it.

One thing I found with my spyder is that when not using it, you should dial the spring all the way out so it doesn't get "stuck" (you know what I mean) in its compressed state. Even better would be to take it out over the winter when you're not actually playing for several months.

It takes a few tries to adjust it back to its sweet spot the first time you use it, but it's worth it.

:D

And as John C says.... stay under 300...
