Slow eggy Z board??

Would,

the motor still spin the correct (anti clockwise) way if the plug was in the wrong way round ?
it was connected when i took it out the package, but its still spinning the right way.

I've just tested an egg, and the motor spins the wrong way if the plug is reversed. The right way round is the red wire to the outside and + symbol. Anti-clockwise is the correct way to spin.

as iv'e said is there any muck arounnd the motor/padles,the eyes are only a on/off switch on/off ball or no ball
ps a egg can only hold 196 balls max

Could it be...

In the neck there's a lens like effect in the plastic right in front of the sensor.
Is it possible that the two halves of the neck are not correctly aligned?



(I had this egg that i've sawn off the neck to bring down the loader.
After putting it back together, the motor had this "stutter" motion: Switching on & off wasn't ok, and the paddles runned slow. I think I just scr€w€d that plastic neck, because it was ok before my clever modification)

If you cut downa feedneck on an egg, and get it wrong....the ball stack, moves in relation to where you have cut it...so...the eyes, rather than each ball stopping with its centre (wide) aligned with teh eyes, so the eyes can see....you might get the "join" WHERE TO BALLS IN THE STACK ARE TOUCHING EACH OTHER, ALIGNED WITH THE EYE,,sorry caps!...which is very narrow and will decieve the eye.

AAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!

The motor plugs on the right way an its spinning in the right direction
There is nothing wrapped round the motors spindle, and its spinning unrestricted.
The silver part on the raceway (where the eyes shine through) is in line and untampered with.
Both halves of the shell are aligned up perfectly & re-assembled no probs.
It does hold 200+ Re-Balls (surely they cant make a diff as to how fast it feeds huh????????????)

Defective board/motor?

Could be it.
Can you try and change/swap any of these with a team mate's? Just to troubleshoot it?

Anyway, the 1st z-board i got was defective. Had to send it back to the shop to have a new one. It can always be the board.
