Sliding and Diving advice

I'm no expert but there is a small bit of advice I can give.... don't dive and definitely don't slide when there is leaves on the ground so you assume it's soft ground....... because sometimes there are roots underneath and it hurts like hell
Not speaking from experience or anything hahaha

My arm pad shifted during dive/slide practice on astro recently

Didn't notice until my next attempt and ended up with a massive bruise and friction burn on my elbow :(

I find if you launch your slide/dive from a lower position you take less impact to the contact points when hitting the ground. Its generally a less painful and more controlled way of doing it. And throw in the odd cartwheel to mix it up a bit and keep em guessing ;)

Always try to dive or slide when your body is in a low position and don't forget to look at your opponents, neither to keep your chest as close to the ground as possible.
