to be fair ..

Its a no brainer, the pmr is better than the slg as (in principle) the slg is a cheaper / downgrade to the pmr.

So .. if you have the money pmr, if not slg is still a great shooter for the money :) ;)

Hope it helps :)

i bought a pmr not long ago,

took it out of the box, shot about 20 balls and it broke

completely, the things are seriously hard to repair on site, they have about 10 orings on them, i would really advise getting a second hand ego or etek for the 200 mark as this gun wont need upgrading much at all and will keep up with even the best guns out there

plus they are really really easy to clean and maintain

just my thoughts

just wondering .. how did it break?

And yeah, most dye / proto guns have around that many o rings. as well as other spool valves (i think - only had experience wit proto markers) But it isn't that much of a deal.

Also, of course ego's will keep keep up with the best guns out there as they are one of the best guns out there ;)

..

From my experience pmr's are very good little shooters and would recommend them any day of the week :)

PMR for sure, i use to own one and it was great, it can also take more upgrade parts such as new bolts/rammers and it has a larger variety of upgradeble boards.

at the moment all you can get to upgrade on the SLG is the trigger, back of the rammer thing, the eyes, and the choice of one board.

the PMR has all that, plus the choice of more triggers, more board choices and also new bolts/rammers (you can find al these on nextag shopping search lol).

The PMR i found was also much more acurate than the SLG and could carry a shot further with still a good accuracy. and for 30 pound more why would you not choose it over an SLG lol.

I have also had a bit of trouble with my PMR for many different reasons, but if you are willing to maintain them lots then they should be fine.

I know of people who have their PMR's shooting like a dream and i think it was just unlucky that i got a "Duffer".

I would recommend getting the PMR over the SLG mainly coz its only a few quid more and is worth the extra cost.
