Did any other teams have trouble fliying back with easy jet
especially with the wait restiction coming back..
flying from uk was 32 kg but on the way back it was only 20 kg.. this resulted in one of are players being banned from fying with them..

was he banned from that flight? i.e. couldn't get home with easyjet? If he was and had a ticket youve got a nice case for court. If he had a ticket under british law he must be allowed to make his journey or easyjet must pay for his subsequent travel to the same destination. So if he had to pay extra to get back with someone else he can take easyjet to court...

Same goes for trains and taxi's incidentally...

We baught some tickets from Andy (JustManc) and that ended in tears as the plonker gave one away. So I booked a new ticket with EasyJet online for copious amounts of dosh. Arrived at Gatwick Airport to book in. Guess what, no ticket! Money been charged to the account, but they were unable to find the booking on their "system"! We were forced to buy ANOTHER ticket. Cost us over £600 to get one player out to Marseille.

yea, its something i picked up from the years of travelling round on trains and taxi's.

There are certain loopholes however for taxi companies. It only works for train stations and airports. You have to book the taxi so you at least get to train/airport 40 mins in advance of your departure time in normal traffic. And some other bits and bobs.

but if youve booked it and well enough in advance, they have to take you to your destination for the same amount it costs to the first train station. (i.e. I have a train to catch from station A, and a subsequent train to catch from station B to get to point C. If they **** up they have to take me to point C for the same cost as home to station A) At least thats my understanding of it.

I may be slightly off.

oh and postage stamps are legal tender...

its also illegal in texas to graffiti someone else's cow.

So, for example - in theory you're perfectly within your rights to pay for a taxi or bus fare using postage stamps ??

But I can graffiti my cow in Texas, just not someone else's !! Crazy.
