sleep. or lack of... :/

I usually sleep for 2 hours when i get back from work about half 5 till half 7

then get up for a bit...
Go back to sleep for another 3 hours at 12ish

then thats me done..


Sleep is boring (^^,)

I used to do the whole macho thing of 'sleep is irrelevant' but i just got over a 7 month patch of insommnia GP gave me some pills and they knocked me clean out :) usually caused b y being over stressed although i find the night before paintball i can't stop thinking about it so i have too much adrenaline in my system. Try doing more exercise, or taking stuff like kalms, next to that it's doing stuff like making sure your not revising near your bed (strangely enough) or anything like reading before you sleep (if reading makes you tired). I was also told to cut down on coffee/tea but i don't drink hot drinks but it might apply to you more :p

try and cut down on stimulant drinks like red bull or other brands. my sister just came back from an operation and she is worried and she cant sleep so she reads and plays scrabble. its a bit wearied but it works at 1 in the morning try that

although you may go insane if you play scrabble on your own every night

i actually have a not bad diet for a 19 year old student heh

i eat a couple bits of fruit a day and i only drink water, i could exercise a little more but unless i properly rip the arse out the exercise then it doesnt make a difference ;s even after a tournie and a 4 hour drive home i can sit up for hours :(

woot im not the only 1 :D


I find it imposisble to get up in the morning, but can easily stay upto 2-3 without getitng sleepy at all... Generaly I just wait untill i get so tired i cant read my computer screen the go pass out in bed.

no i didnt, i slept for about an hour max, and its not proper sleep either, its very very "light" sleep, where id still notice if some twat was to try and throw something at you from the back seat ;p

try spending one hour before you go to bed watching tv whilst drinking a hot/milky drink (hot chocolate works wonders). youd be amazed the benifit from one hour of relaxing. and if your going to bed during the day time/morning, try to make sure no light comes into the place your sleeping, or little light; otherwise your body will get confused if its night or day etc.
