What a Fuking Joke that was!

Gripe No. 1 - Player Loading their guns with no condoms / barrel plugs in and their masks off / up

Gripe No. 2 - Them playing the "Theme from Great escape" in the above scene (a minor one i know)

Gripe No. 3 - Players Lifting their masks EVERY time they spoke, Right in the middle of the "game" all huddled behind a tree bunker shouting "There they are" then putting their masks down.

Gripe No. 4 - Paintball AGAIN being portrayed as a source of serious injury (although they did decide not to get anyone blinded this time)

Gripe No. 5 - Im sorry, but they werent even playing a game, since when (even with punters) have they ever all been running past each other and saying Hi instead of shooting at each other?

I'll probably think of something else later :)

How it was.

Despite how it looks..In practice it was all safe!.....
None of the actors were allowed to use any markers with CO2 in them, none of the hoppers contained any paint and the only marshalls used, were there on the last day as extras for the scenes that contained any firing! along with the pro. stuntman. Must admit if I didn't know that, like every member of "joe public" that watched last night I would be a livid!
Sky should have, at least, issued some sort of safety warning at the end on the show about wearing masks and how the scenes were filmed in safe, controlled conditions.
Then again for TV companies safe and incident free scenes do not make good viewer ratings. Oh well marshalling over the next few weekends will be interesting. As all the "dream team" wannabes run around the paintball field lifting thier googles.

Actors are a species which should not be left on its own.
