Did he really rip the idea, or did two people just happen to dream up the same thing? If you want to add to the gun, it is one of the first things you would think of I guess... So without knowing the thoughts behind it, saying he ripped the idea is a bit harsh. Very judgmental of you, Simon me ol' mucka.Originally posted by manike
The engraving may be 'slightly different', but I'd hardly call it 'one of a kind' since he ripped the idea off someone else.
If it's who I remember, he came on PBN searching for pics of the original. It may be someone else though.Originally posted by Buddha 3

I've heard from someone else that there has been a pic of a similar one on PBNation in the classifieds, but I can't find it anymore either. Although I'm sure it's out there somewhere.Originally e-mailed by Nigel
This design is unique to me and the lazer engraving is of the tower bridge, big ben and houses of parliment and also canary warf.
The artwork was made up by my mate krazy from fbm, so it is not copied. The idea of london only came about when the twin towers was refused by krazy for obvious reasons. If there is another out there i would love to see pics as i cant find one anywhere. Where did you see it Manike?
Just seems the obvious thing to have when you see a mushroom cloud going up. what else would you have engraved????
A car?
I checked out PBNation again, there's a pic on Fireball Mountain, but it has the London features, unlike the original. Looks like NigelsOriginally e-mailed by Nigel
i have never been on pbnation and certainly never asked permission to use any idea.
So, it should be pretty different. Currently trying to get a hold of a pic of that one.Originally posted by unonad on PBNation
I belive John used Chicago, San Fran, Seattle for the city scape.
Fair enough. I do think it would have been wise if you had posted this info straight away, you came across is trying to be a bit blasé, if ya get my drift.Originally posted by manike

Considering the plane is identical and it was done by the same company quite a few months after the first...
There was a thread there where I think he even said he asked permission from the original guy.
You haven't met Andy Piper than, have you?
It is possible he came up with the idea independently, but I don't see any pigs with wings just yet.
Hope you ain't talking about me, hippie scumbag!
I hear they are making this one next for some treehugger from Amsterdam...
