Should you get a good mask or a good hopper first

Expensive masks are good, but you might not need one. Buy a cheap one first, and take it out a few times, maybe upgrade if it's not your jam.

I've had the helix for a good 6-8 months now
I put on a friend i4 and thought this is really comfortable conpared to mine
It's also started to get a bit foggy...

I see this question often and i must admit the above quote sums up the best answer I've seen. Investing in your comfort for the day and protecting your face and eyesight is top of my list. A comfortable mask you can wear all day with good thermal lense or a few lenses for different conditions is going to keep you on the field, and keep you enjoying the day.

i would say aslong as you get a thermal mask you should be fine for a while, just as long as the mask isnt going all foggy every 5 minutes you shoukd be all good, if you gun is an electric gun i would try go for a decent hopper, i wouldnt go for a gravity fed hopper
